Q: How do I measure my windows for my new hurricane shutters?

Getting the right measurements is a breeze! We just need to know the width and height of each window and your preferred shutter style. Keep in mind that some windows, especially those with arches, might need a bit more attention. For arched windows, it's best to measure from the bottom of the arch and the width and the height of the window to ensure accuracy. Don't worry if you're not confident about taking measurements yourself. We've got you covered! Q: What Are Your Shutters Made Of?

All of our shutters are made of aluminum for the purpose of providing you the most security, durability and canvas for custom color and finish. Shutters do come in wood and plastic from other companies, yet over time with aluminum shutters, you will not have to worry about them rotting or warping in our hot and humid climate.

Q: How Many Shutters Do I Order?

You may decide you only need to replace shutters for one window or you want to update the entire home. Choose how many shutters you need, and since they come in pairs, you can order multiples, or store some shutters for future replacements.

Q: Can you build shutter designs that are not available on the website?

We build many types of custom shutters that are not listed on the website. Give us a call so we can discuss your custom design.

Q: How are aluminum shutters assembled?

The aluminum shutters are cut to size and then fastened at key points. The rails are then overlapping to create a seamless appearance and enhanced strength. Powder coating is then applied to the shutters to make them scratch and weather resistant. In addition to looking great, our aluminum shutters are also storm rated to protect you from storms.
