At Gulf Coast Shutters, we are experts in the storm protection field. Our team has more than 30 years of combined expertise in design, sales, manufacturing, and construction. We work with homeowners, business owners, architects and builders to find the right storm shutters to fit your needs. No matter the size or shape of your windows and doors, we will create a solution that will protect your property!

Our Work Testing Showroom

We manufacture all of our shutters, storm panels and other products locally, here in Houma, Louisiana. This means we can oversee the process from start to finish and guarantee the quality of each shutter that we make. All of our storm shutters are impact rated to provide your home or business with the maximum amount of protection possible. Our shutters are made to withstand high winds and debris.

We put all of our products through a rigorous testing process in order to provide you with the best protection and value possible. The safety of your home is our priority.

Come visit our showroom at 221 Venture Blvd Houma. Our hours are 7am to 5pm Monday through Thursday and 7am to 11am Friday. We have numerous samples on display and we can provide you with a free estimate!

Do aluminum shutters have a wood grain finish?

Aluminum shutters are available in a smooth or textured powder coat finish.

How are aluminum shutters assembled?

The aluminum shutters are cut to size and then fastened at key points. The rails are then overlapping to create a seamless appearance and enhanced strength. Powder coating is then applied to the shutters to make them scratch and weather resistant. In addition to looking great, our aluminum shutters are also storm rated to protect you from storms.

Can you build shutter designs that are not available on the website?

We build many types of custom shutters that are not listed on the website. Give us a call so we can discuss your custom design.
